God Bless Our Soldiers

During Army Day at the reunion, the kids made cards to send to the soldiers. I received this letter a little while ago from one of those that I sent them too. If you feel like writing him, I am sure he would appreciate an email. Here is his letter.

Hi, thank you for the mail, it means a lot. My name is SPC Gross I apologize for this letter being typed, but my writing hand is broken at the moment. Getting mail here of any sort is definitely a morale boost, so what you are doing is a great service to us.

Well lets see, I am a military brat, born in Hawaii, raised in Ohio, and currently stationed in Ft. Bragg, NC with the 82nd Airborne Division. I am twenty four years old and I have been in the army for about three years. I am going to the promotion board for sergeant next month. I hope it works out well for me.

I am recently divorced, with no kids. I like to read and on occasion I enjoy drawing and writing as well. I haven't been able to indulge myself in either of the latter because of my hand being broken, c'est la vie. I don't typically read magazines so much as fiction novels by the likes of Dean Koontz, Stephen King and Ted Dekker.

I apologize for this being so short, but my email is
nathan.gross2@gmail.com if you ever feel like shooting me an email. I must be off to work, thank you again for the work you're doing, you're truly a blessing.

-SPC Nate Gross
