Puppies

As some of you may know, Mom and Dad (Diane & Danny) have bulldogges. They got a new litter just last week from Athena. Aren't they cute!?! There are 4 girls and 5 boys. Maybe Mom will post some pictures of the other litter that they currently have from Mocha. There are 3 of them and they are about 5 weeks old now. See you all soon. ~Amanda

Minnie: Back Pain

Now for some news on Minnie . She is being very, very stubborn and uncooperative!! She fell, week before last (which she can't remember doing) and has complained off & on of severe back pain. I have asked her to see Dr. Sabedra (she has declined) until this weekend & her back pain was really, really bad. It is hurting right at the base of her tailbone (which she declined to tell me until Saturday night around 10:30). She kept referring to her lower back when she was complaining of pain, I thought it was her arthritis. She refused to go to the doc today b/c she doesn't feel like it!! What is wrong w/this picture, oh & she hasn't had a bath yet, & & & &. So I told her I was not happy w/her & she accused me of being ugly to her. I said I am not being ugly to you, I just told you that I am not happy w/your decision, but I can get ugly if I need to. She has a 10:10 appt Wednesday am & if need be, I will go bathe her myself tomorrow night!!

Well gotta go, hope to see the majority of you at the reunion which is in 21 days!! What to cook, what to cook, any suggestions or requests?

**Please pray for Grandma and Aunt Lisa. We all know she hasn't been herself for quite some time. Aunt Lisa does a great job taking care of her even when she doesn't want to be taken care of.

Randy: Radiation Begins

Good AM to all of you!!

Well Randy began his radiation treatments this am. He is at Baptist Integris Medical Center, (Lisa has the room and phone number, but I don't like to put that info out on the net). He will be there until Wednesday. He will be heavily sedated today and per the doc will probably have quite a bit of pain. Aunt Martha is with him and either Ray or Sherrill, not for sure. Debbie will be in tomorrow and Loetta this weekend if all goes as planned.

Randy: Radiation appt.

Ok it is official Randy's first radiation treatment is for Monday, April 30 @ 8:00 am at OKC. I think Integris but am not for sure will find out from Aunt Martha. Today's run was a two hour meeting with Dr. Stokes. He is the doctor who will be giving him the radiation, feeding it directly into his liver which according to him, this will make his cancers turn a very lovely glow in the dark white and will give them exact proof of how big the tumors are and how many. He will be in the hospital for three days. Debbie is flying in on Tuesday and Loetta is coming in that weekend.

Randy: Chemo Update

4/26/07, 8:40 a.m.

Good Morning Loved Ones!!

Well it has been a very loooooooooooooooong, very frustrating two weeks. Our cousin Randy seemed to have gotten lost in the cracks of big city medicine. He had his last MRI on 4/10/07, we finally received an answer yesterday after many numerous phone calls to the oncologist, (I finally pulled out all stops & put Dr. K on the phone, I know that this will surprise all of you, but he ACTUALLY got thru to the doc and didn't get an answering machine!!). It IS viable to do chemo & his first appt is 4/27/07, this Friday @ 7:30 am. Hopefully all will go smoothly now. Aunt Martha will be staying w/him at the hospital. It is my understanding that Deb will be flying in from Virginia around May 1st to visit. Not for sure how long.

Am looking forward to seeing all of you soon, very soon, at the reunion.

Randy: Chemo Update

Hello Love Ones,

New update on Randy, it was my understanding that Randy was to begin his chemo treatments today, that is not correct. He reports today for lab work & it is un-sure whether he is to have another MRI today or not. We will know more tomorrow as Ray is taking him and Aunt Martha up there!! Aunt Martha understood that he was to have another MRI to pinpoint the exact spots that they would feed the chemo crystals into. The doctor's office shows lab work only, so there is some confusion. Will let you all know when it is corrected.

Until then it was really good to see quite a few of you this past Saturday at Danny Ray's 60th birthday celebration.

I am really looking forward to the reunion and spending more time w/all of you who bless us with your presence.

Olla Loved Ones!!

Randy's stress test results came in just a little over an hour ago and they were normal. This means that he can continue with his chemo plans. His first appt is this Friday @ 3:45.
