Yes It HURT!!!!!!

Stephen is hooked on Gavin.

Shai, Gavin, and Stephen went on a fishing trip. They ended up at the doctor's office. Luckily they got it out without having to cut him open. After a tetanus shot, he was home with little pain. Glad it wasn't worse!

Stephen said..."Doesn’t hurt anymore except where I got my tetanus shot."

Prayer Request for Jimmy Update 1

Jimmy was supposed to go home yesterday. YEAH!!

He had pneumonia and a heat stroke.

Thanks for the prayers. Glad he is doing better.

Lake Bums

There are different kinds of lake bums...

There are those who enjoy the cool water.

Those who enjoy running down the sand hill like Tanner and Rylan

Those who like bury themselves in the sand like Trinity

Those who enjoy the feel of the warm sand like Megan

Those who enjoy the mud

Or those who love to splash around like Shai, Gavin, and Rylan.

There are also bums, Bethany & Kyndal, who prefer to stay out of the sand and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake.

Amanda is currently a member of the previous group, but she would prefer to be part of the next.

Then, there are those bums who have to be right on top of the water and looking to catch what's underneath.

What ever kind of bum you are...THE REUNION IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

Prayer Request for Jimmy

Jimmy went into the hospital on Wednesday. His body temperature was very high. He has an infection but they haven't found the source. Please pray for his healing and for Beth's peace of mind.

2009 Fishing Trophy Winner

Look out...the competition just got a little tougher.

We took Kyndal fishing for the first time on Saturday, and she is hooked. (Pun intended) She told her Grandpa that she wanted to go fishing in his boat at the "ruinyun" aka reunion. We asked her if she was going to win the trophy next year. So, she asked how you did that. When we told her she had to catch the biggest fish, she replied that she would do that.

Cooking for the Masses

There is always lots of cooking at the reunion. From cinnamon rolls to little smokies, it is all a treat for the taste buds.

Here is Diane putting the final touches on dinner one night.

The kids made butter for pioneer day and we enjoyed it the entire time.
Amy, Diane, Kyndal, and Shai fill the jars with cream for the shaking.

Trish and Lisa were great contributors to the food fare. They always bring such yummy things. Thanks for your help ladies.
