Hello Family. I thought it would be fun to share our favorite reunion memory. I will post mine now, and you can post yours in the comment section. Just click the comment button at the bottom of this post or "comment section" in this paragraph.

I could probably write 100 but...my favorite was in 1998 when I caught the big walleye. Rob, Uncle Russell, and I were by the dam. I thought I was hung on something but it was actually a big walleye. The big fish, the look on Rob's and Uncle Russell's faces, and just the shear excitement. It was awesome! Sure look forward to being able to go out fishing again.
.
Now your turn.

Lisa Update 2/18 & 2/20
2/18/08
Hello Loved Ones!!
Well thought I would bring you up to date on the latest, some of you have already been called so for those who haven't here's the deal.
Aunt Martha is in Duncan Regional Hospital. She was admitted about 3:00 AM w/arm & shoulder pain & a possible heart attack. She had been having this for about the last week really bad & off & on for about a month or so. She began having intense pain last night follow church services, which aspirn, aleve & darvocett wouldn't relieve so about 3 she realized that she was having same symptoms that Grandpa Isbell had right before he had his heart attack. She called Raymond & away they went. Right now she is in under observation but has already called me to complain & tell me that she was about to go off on them if they didn't give her a nerve pill. Told her to chill out, they had to wait for her doctor to say it was ok, so then she decided she would just go to sleep. I will keep you all updated on what is happening.
Randy came in last week, had a good checkup w/dr. k & has agreed to see his specialist for a follow-up ct scan soon. Also he was married Valentine's day. Enough said.
Aunt Bev has been having blood pressure problems but last report is she is feeling better. YEAH!!
Sherrill is doing so so & we are working on his next pet scan appointment.
Mom had a virus this last week & wasn't doing good at all but has perked up some.
Zach tested positive for Strain A flu and was down for about a week. Said he would definitely get flu shot next season. Angela has had a cold, I was down for about 2 days but am all better.
Will let you all go & remember we need lots of prayers!!
My love to you all,
Lisa

Hello Everyone!!
Quick update,
Aunt Martha is home, has an appt to see specialist for her back pain this friday & will get MRI results then. Also Dr. K is sending her for a heart scan. No evidence of heart attack so that is a blessing.
Randy has an appt w/his oncologist Dr. Parker on the 29th.
Sherrill has a pet scan scheduled for 29th.
Mom is much better as is Zach & Angela.
I had a little health scare this week, my yearly mammo came back abnormal, underwent more testing yesterday, identified a spot on the spot test check, sent me for a ultrasound & spot could not be found, even called in the radiologist to do my ultrasound & she couldn't find it. She said it must be an enlarged gland and to just keep a check on it & make sure I repeat mammo in a year. Tough 24 hours!!
Uncle Oscar just called & told me that he has been officially diagnosed with emphysema, seems he has a really bad case of it. Wish cigarettes would completely disappear from face of earth!!
Think that is all for now.
My love to each of you,
Lisa

2008 Isbell Reunion Letter
2008 Isbell Reunion
May 1 - 5, 2008
May 1 - 5, 2008

Reunion 2007
Last year’s reunion was a success! We had about 40 people appearing over the four days. Big thanks to all of those who helped make it great. Everyone has been awesome about pitching in and helping in the kitchen. The weather was very nice. It even got chilly the last couple of days. Even though the fishermen couldn’t get out on the lake, the rest of us enjoyed having them in to visit. As usual, we missed all of you who did not come. The dates for this year are Thursday, May 1 through Monday, May 5. We chose these dates in order to have the reunion over a weekend. We hope this enables more to come.

Fishing Trophy
The winds on the lake were a little strong, but that didn’t stop the fisherman from going out. Danny even tried to sink his new boat at one point. (He’ll be glad to share the story.) Lots of fish were brought in and we had a great fish fry. The competition for the trophy was tough but in the end, the fishing trophy returned to the Morton’s house. James won again.

Kids Adventure Day
The kids had an awesome time during Army Adventure Day. They enlisted in the Isbell Army and became brave, little soldiers. They completed an obstacle course, tended to wounded soldiers, launched confetti grenades and enjoyed their time together. They also made cards for our soldiers in Iraq. We even heard back from a few of them. We will be spending a little time on the prairie this year. Kids, look for more info coming soon.

B-I-N-G-O
We are planning to play bingo on Friday night. We ask that you help by contributing prizes. We only ask that you bring something you would be happy to win and take home. Bring one or two or as many as you like; but everyone plan on staying after dinner on Friday to enjoy the fun. If you would simply like to contribute money to buy prizes, you can do that too. We will be glad to purchase prizes for you.
