The Trophy is Done!

Here's a picture of James with his BIG fish! I just picked up the trophy today with James name on it for 2007! We are going to have to add a new plaque next year! New Business for Lisa

I have an appointment w/the Okla Small Business Development Organization the 29th of this month to discuss starting my own home cleaning business. Am continuing to receive requests to clean so am really going to take the step. If you all will send up a prayer for me concerning this also, I would appreciate it.

Randy: Home

Latest Randy update, he came home Friday!! Seems to be doing pretty good this time around, so far no hiccups that I know of!!

Minnie: Update & Prayer Request

From Lisa:

Mom did see Dr. Sabedra soon after the reunion and he has approached me concerning her continuing to drive and has stated that now is the time to start preparing her as well as ourselves for that next big step in her life and ours. We are lucky that she hasn't move recently as her short term memory is almost non-existent, so getting lost would already have begun to occur. I did try to speak to her this week concerning her driving, and why we are so concerned about her & others, (hostile does not begin to explain her reactions to my suggestions). This will be a very trying and hard time for all of us, prayers, prayers, prayers!!

Randy: Progressing

Thought I should give you the latest update on Randy. He had his second treatment Monday and the doctor was very pleased with the results of the first treatment. It seems that the large tumor is showing signs of dying. They also planned to do another MRI yesterday to see if progress was being made in killing off the tumors. If all had went well Randy was to have been released today, but it was not to be. He has begun to throw up blood & so far they are unable to pinpoint where the blood is coming from. Also after the MRI they have decided that they need to do further treatments but these treatments will be much different from the first. The chemo will be administered by needle individually into the areas as they are too close to vital organs (such as his colon) and a more controlled administrative procedure is called for. He will be in the hospital until at least Friday due to all the complications that have arisen and also due to his weakness.

Spoke with Aunt Martha just now and she is really tired and disheartened, prayers, calls, cards, etc are really needed at this time. They plan on giving him a week to recover and then will begin the next set of treatments. I will keep you all updated, you will know almost as soon as I do.
